Jeff Lang


Jeffrey Lang is a veteran of the seafood industry with more than 27 years of experience as an importer/exporter and distributor of seafood products from around the world.  Jeff began his career in a seafood processing facility in New Bedford, MA. He spent several years learning the processing/freezing side of the business. He later went on to become involved in the sales of frozen seafood products for seven years. 

     Jeff then began Sea Born Products in 2000 with a focus on procuring scallops that could meet the needs of several segments of the seafood industry. Whether providing products to a processing facility, value-added manufacturer, a restaurant chain, or a national distributor, the focus is the same. Our goal is to provide the highest quality seafood products our customers demand. Jeff has spent time each year traveling to places like Japan, Peru, Mexico and China to meet with our well established suppliers, to discuss customer requirements and concerns. Jeff believes that business solid partnerships both on the supply side and with customers, provides the basis for success. In keeping with this practice, we will tailor a program to meet your specific needs. Sea Born takes pride in delivering our product in a timely fashion, whether a standing order or an annual contract.  We work closely with our customers in developing a program that guarantees success.

     Jeff is a member of the American Scallop Association, The New Bedford Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board of W.H.A.L.E. (Waterfront Historic Area LeaguE) which is responsible for the preservation of the New Bedford Historical National Park.  Sea Born Products was nominated for Small Business of the Year by Bank of America.  The Sea Born Products offices are located on the historic waterfront of the largest seafood port in the world. Jeff served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 8 years and is currently an active member of the U.S. Marine Corp. League.  Philanthropy and giving back to the community is of utmost importance to Jeff. In his spare time, Jeff is an avid sports fan.  He plays golf and attends sporting events. He is married to his wife of 27 years and has two children.

Geoffrey Moulton


     Geoffrey Moulton has spent much of his adult life in the seafood and maritime trades from commercial fishing in lobster, ground fish and blue fin tuna to sailing the oceans of the world while in the United States Coast Guard and later in the foreign merchant navy. His travels include North America, South America,Europe, Africa, and Asia.

     Once ashore, Moulton worked in the fishing gear business supplying the commercial fleets from Maine to North Carolina with all manner of equipment and services, including the design and manufacture of fishing equipment. From there it was a short transition back into the seafood industry, managing a fishermen’s coop, selling seafood to national and international accounts. 

     Moulton soon became very familiar negotiating purchases with suppliers from countries such as Iceland, Norway, Scotland, Chile, Turkey, Argentina to name a few. For many years he attended the European Seafood Exposition in Brusselsand exhibited at the Boston Seafood Show. He has attended the China Seafood Exposition several times and maintains a solid relationship with seafood producers there.

     With this experience and longevity in the industry Moulton created his own seafood company achieving over 250 million in sales over the past decade only to recently work with Sea Born Products, Inc for strength and diversity. He brings with him a degree in business, many years of hands on experience, depth of knowledge of product species, types, forms, and production. He is very resourceful and is oriented toward solving problems by partnering and collaborating with customers in need of solutions.
